Mojer named Social Media Manager for HEAD Penn RB
Colorado Springs, CO — HEAD Penn Racquet Sports is pleased to announce that it has secured the services of With Substance, Inc., to develop and manage its social media program, under the direction of long time industry and media professional, Linda Mojer. The former Managing Editor of RACQUETBALL Magazine (1989-2004), Mojer holds unequalled tenure among journalists who have covered and promoted the sport of racquetball.
As the new Racquetball Social Media Manager, Mojer will provide an array of editorial services to support and develop a comprehensive social media presence for HEAD Penn. Her integrative approach to communications is well suited to the varied platforms of social media - and her expertise and experience in the field is second to none.
“Racquetball has always struggled for its fair share of the limelight” observed Mojer, “but good web presence levels the playing field. Our ability to focus on HEAD Penn team athletes to deliver quality reporting, connect with personalities, document outstanding performances and share human interest stories will elevate the brands and improve the overall exposure for the sport of racquetball.”
A long-time public relations professional, Linda has been involved in the sport for over 30 years, from early competitive play and state-level administration in Florida in the 80s, to joining the executive team at the US Racquetball Association national offices in Colorado in 1990. Once there, she also earned USOC media credentials as a public relations officer assigned to numerous Olympic events. Her work in reestablishing RACQUETBALL Magazine as the sport’s premier publication was considered a standout among governing body counterparts, and included the development of a full-scale online presence that was groundbreaking in its time.
Since its founding in 1996, Mojer has supported the US OPEN Racquetball Championships as the editor of its annual souvenir program, and this year returned to the event to support its growing social media outreach. “I have had the pleasure of working with Linda in various capacities for the past 24 years. She has enormous talents in media, graphic design, social media, and public relations. To have her officially on the HEAD Penn team is a huge win for our organization” stated Doug Ganim, Racquetball Promotions Manager for HEAD Penn Racquet Sports.
Mojer’s content development firm, WithSubstance.com, was founded in 2008 and has grown to serve clients across a wide spectrum of industry, from international sport to the fine arts, small business to Chambers of Commerce. She was honored as a Woman of Influence by the Colorado Springs Business Journal in 2010.
