Elias wins title in Rio
Twenty-one-year-old Gastao Elias won Peugeot Tennis Cup, an ATP Tour Challenger event, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil today by defeating Boris Pashanski 6-3, 7-5. Elias, a former top 10 junior and 2007 Eddie Herr Champion, was not seeded in the event and was competing in his third ATP Challenger singles final of the year.
He is coached by former top 35 player, Jaime Oncins.
