PTR celebrates 10 & Under Tennis Month
Hilton Head Island, SC — Professional Tennis Registry’s Junior Development (10 & under) Workshops have educated and certified more than 1,000 tennis coaches since February of 2011. In honor of this milestone, PTR is pleased to announce that August is PTR 10 & Under Tennis Month.
During the month of August, anyone who joins PTR as a full member can take advantage of two special offers:
- Free registration* for a PTR Junior Development (10 & under) Workshop** (normally $120).
- PTR will waive the $100 membership initiation fee.
A total savings of $220
“PTR is able to provide these fantastic discounts thanks in part to the USTA. The USTA is providing grant funds to assist with delivering these 10 and under educational workshops,” said PTR CEO, Dan Santorum. “This is a great deal for people who have been thinking about joining PTR and getting their tennis teaching certification. PTR membership has always been a terrific value, but this August it’s even better!”
USTA Chief Executive of Community Tennis, Kurt Kamperman stated, “The PTR Junior Development workshops build on the foundation laid in the USTA 10 and Under Tennis workshops, and they are a great way for tennis coaches to continue their education. The USTA is excited that PTR is helping build a larger pool of well trained teachers and coaches for this very important age group.”
PTR President, Jorge Andrew added, “As a PTR Junior Development (10 and under) Clinician, as well as a USTA Trainer for 10 and Under Tennis, I see the need for more coaches’ education in this area. I am thrilled that PTR continues to encourage tennis coaches to continue their education in this very important age category.”
Don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime offer and spread the word to someone else who is interested in teaching tennis to our nation’s youth. Call PTR at 843-785-7244 to join the 10 & under tennis revolution!
