Grass Court season is officially underway
Direct from Wimbledon and just before the Olympics, some of the world’s most exciting tennis players will be heading to Newport, July 9 - 15. Committed players include:
- Defending champion and current world No. 10, John Isner
- 11-time Grand Slam champions, The Bryan Brothers
- Former world No.1 and Aussie tennis great, Lleyton Hewitt
- Japan’s No. 1 player, ranked world No. 18, Kei Nishikori, and Japan’s No. 2, Go Soeda
- Canada’s No. 1 player, currently ranked world No. 21, Milos Raonic, along with Canada’s No. 2 & 3 players, Vasek Pospisil & Frank Dancevic
- 2009 Newport Runner Up, Sam Querrey
- Additional Top-50 players incluring Denis Istomin, Xavier Malisse, Alex Bogomolov, Jr., and Donald Young
On the weekend, we eagerly anticipate sharing a memorable Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, honoring:
- Former world No. 1, 3-time Grand Slam champion, and Olympic gold medalist Jennifer Capriati
- Brazilian star, 3-time French Open champion, and former world No. 1 Guga Kuerten
- Spanish tennis great and Davis Cup legend Manuel Orantes
- Tennis industry leader, innovator, and promoter Mike Davies
- Wheelchair tennis star and 3-sport Paralympic medalist Randy Snow, who will be honored posthumously.
- The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held Saturday, July 14 at 12 pm.
