Babolat presents RPM Team
Boulder, Colorado — Babolat presents its very latest innovation: RPM Team string. Developed from the top-selling RPM Blast string, new RPM Team is perfect for players looking for high performance and more comfort.
This new string makes topspin shots more attainable to players of all abilities. An innovative design brings high-level technologies to this monofilament string, which Babolat developed in close collaboration with its Team Babolat pro players.
Like RPM Blast, RPM Team is made up of an octagonal structure and Cross-Linked Silicone coating. This allows the string to reposition itself quickly after impact in a way that significantly increases topspin on every shot.
To answer players’ needs, Babolat developed specific characteristics for RPM Team. The injection of air bubbles makes it more flexible than a classic monofilament string, while staying very resistant to breakage. With this more flexible new string, tennis players benefit from optimal topspin as well as a better comfort at ball impact.
Inventor and leader in tennis strings, Babolat has been observing, analyzing and anticipating the needs of players for more than 135 years. Always concerned with providing more and more efficient strings, Babolat allows players to hit bigger topspin shots by continually pushing the limits of innovation.
Created in 1875, in Lyon, France, Babolat is the oldest international company specialized in tennis. Babolat is today number 1 in tennis racquet sales in the United States, France, Spain, Italy and Japan.
