Ashaway Unveils New Website
Ashaway, RI — Ashaway Racket Strings has unveiled a new corporate website at AshawayUSA.com. Totally redesigned and rebuilt to provide a better user feel and experience, AshawayUSA.com presents a dramatic new look for Ashaway racquet stringing products. Site navigation has been simplified and enhanced (even the rolling home page photos of leading Ashaway sponsored players act as links), product information has been reorganized and detail added, and more information has been included on product selection and use.
Ashaway’s racquet stringing products have been color coded: Badminton in red; Racquetball in green; Squash in yellow; and Tennis in blue. A product overview page for each sport includes product names and gages available, numerical playability ratings, string core types and outer surface designs, colors available, and special features.
Clicking on any specific product takes you to a product detail page where the features of each product line or family are explained, along with the comparative benefits of each. An at-a-glance playability chart highlights each string’s mix of key features such as Power, Control, Tension Stability, and Durability. Product detail pages can also be easily downloaded as PDF files.
Current news is highlighted on the home page, and the full text of recent Ashaway news releases is included in a What’s New section. Another section provides a quick guide to Ashaway Distributors worldwide, and for those with string related questions, a quick email link to Ashaway experts is available. A corporate history details Ashaway’s 187-year history as a family owned U.S. manufacturer. Reprints of Steve Crandall’s popular Stringing Tips columns from Squash Magazine and Racquetball Magazine will also be included soon.
