PTR to Host Conference
Hilton Head Island, SC — Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) will host its third Tennis Club and Facility Conference October 5-7, 2011, at PTR Headquarters on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The three day event has been designed specifically for tennis club owners, club managers, and directors of tennis.
Presentations and breakout sessions will include relevant topics such as Digital Marketing, Customer Service, Hiring, Training and Evaluating Employees, Methods to Decrease Expenses, Tips to Survive a Difficult Economy, Court & Facility Maintenance, Effective Programming to Increase Revenue, Solar Panels — How & Why and many more.
Doug Cash, the nation’s top club consultant, will be the conference facilitator. Others providing their expertise to the program include Kurt Kamperman, Lance Andersen, Colleen Cosgrove, Judy Vogt, Mark McMahon and Tim Wilkison — “Dr. Dirt”. Vendor contributors include Michele Krause of Cardio Tennis, Tom Magner of DecoTurf, Ed MonteCalvo of HarTru and Dorian Adam of TRX.
The program starts at 12 Noon on Wednesday, October 5, and runs through 1pm Friday, October 7. The cost, $395 before September 1, $445 after September 1, includes all sessions, workshops, vendor booths and social activities through Friday afternoon. Additional attendees from the same club are only $349 each.
