Cincinnati Bell Powers W&SFG

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Bell (NYSE: CBB) has been chosen as the Official Technology Sponsor of the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters & Women’s Open. As the exclusive provider of fiber-optic video and broadband services for the tournament, Cincinnati Bell will help power these two premier tennis events, combined under one umbrella at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio, August 7 through August 22.

“We couldn’t do this without Cincinnati Bell”

“The Western & Southern Open needed a trusted provider for high-speed internet, voice, and closed-circuit TV services,” said Jim Ruehlmann, Cincinnati Bell VP for business marketing, “and they chose Cincinnati Bell to get the job done. Our Fioptics networks are engineered to serve the needs of large-bandwidth customers who demand high speed and reliability.” The closed-circuit coverage is broadcast throughout the entire tournament site, including hospitality tents and suites, food courts, player locker room and lounge, player dining, and all ATP World Tour and Sony Ericsson WTA Tour offices.

“We couldn’t do this without Cincinnati Bell,” said Bruce Flory, tournament director. “They combine unmatched customer service from a company we trust with technological leadership in fiber-optic capabilities. They were clearly the best choice to deliver this top-line tennis event to a world stage.”
