Fran Davis among Top Racquetball Women
Phoenix, AZ — USA Racquetball’s Winter Issue of “Racquetball” Magazine was devoted to the women of the sport, honoring 11 of racquetball’s most influential women in 2009. Among those named was Fran Davis, HEAD Penn Racquet Sports National Promotions Coordinator.
Fran Davis is racquetball’s most renowned clinician and coach. She has coached junior players to an outstanding 36 gold and silver medals at the Junior National Championships. Her roster of junior players holding National Championships includes current Team HEAD players Taylor Knoth and Sharon Jackson. She has also coached professional players to top rankings on the IRT and WPRO tours.
An author of several instructional books and videos, Fran travels the world with her “Bulding Your Racquetball Dream House” clinic series. She became one of the first Master Instructors for the newly created USA Racquetball Instructors Program. USA Racquetball also honored Davis in 2004 by inducting her into the organization’s Hall of Fame.
