Dellis Cay Sponsors 2009 Sony Ericsson Open in Key Biscayne

MIAMI—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Dr. Cem Kinay, CEO & Chairman of The O Property Collection (OPC), is pleased to announce Dellis Cay as a host sponsor to the 2009 Sony Ericsson Open, the annual 12-day tennis tournament held at the Tennis Center in Crandon Park from March 25-April 5, 2009. For the second straight year, Dellis Cay will have a strong presence and host a VIP suite at the Sony Ericsson Open, which is considered to be one of the most prestigious titles in professional tennis and has been awarded the coveted “Tournament of the Year” by the ATP in eight of the past ten years. “Dellis Cay has been conceived as an extremely exclusive retreat for a contemporary, highly discerning, successful and young-at-heart clientele. The sponsorship of this event has been a natural fit for us.” said Dr. Kinay about the affiliation with the event.

This year’s Sony Ericsson Open entrants include top world ranking players Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Andy Roddick, Serena Williams, Dinara Safina and Nadia Petrova, amongst many others. With $9mm in prize money this is one of the largest tournaments in the world. The tournament is currently one of nine ATP Masters Series events on the ATP calendar and a top tier event on the Sony Ericsson WTA TOUR calendar.
