Tharp now Managing Director of the Rodney Street Tennis and Tutoring Assoc.
Tina Tharp has accepted the position of Managing Director of the Rodney Street Tennis and Tutoring Association in Wilmington, DE.
The Rodney Street Tennis and Tutoring Association (rodneystreettennis.org) provides innovative tennis and educational enrichment programs to inner-city youth.
“I’m excited about the opportunity; particularly to work with Jane Brown-Grimes who has committed to serve on the RST&TA Board upon the completion of her term as President of the USTA in December. She will be a real asset to both me and the organization in our fundraising efforts,” states Tharp.
Prior to this, Tina was most recently employed as the Executive Director at Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education.
Not stopping there, Tina Tharp has concurrently accepted the position of Men’s and Women’s Head Tennis Coach at West Chester University; announced by Dr. Edward Matejkovic, WCU Athletic Director.
“I’m excited about the opportunity that lies ahead. West Chester has a rich academic and athletic history and I’m proud to be a part of the coaching team,” says Tharp.
