Pacific Life Open announces Fox Sports Net as new broadcast partner
Indian Wells, Calif. - Fox Sports Net (FSN) is the new broadcast partner of the Pacific Life Open, the most attended tennis tournament outside of the Grand Slams, it was announced today by tournament director Steve Simon.
The tournament, to be held March 10-23 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, will be broadcast for more than 40 hours on FSN’s 15 owned-and-operated regional networks that reach more than 70 million homes across the United States. The broadcast team at the tournament will feature former ATP and Sony Ericsson WTA Tour pros Justin Gimelstob and Chandra Rubin, in addition to award-winning announcer Barry Tompkins.

“We are extremely excited that the Pacific Life Open will be broadcast on FSN,” said Simon. “Our partnership will result in increased coverage of the tournament nationally and deliver exceptional exposure in Southern California. We look forward to developing a long-term relationship with FSN that will continue to put our event in the national spotlight.”
Coverage of the Pacific Life Open on FSN will begin live on Saturday, March 15 at 11:00 AM PST and continue throughout the following week. The women’s and men’s finals will be live on Sunday, March 23 at Noon and 2:00 PM PST.
