(Aurora, CO) March 1, 2008 –- Imperial Headwear (Imperial) introduces its new Eco-Friendly Green Collection and Imperial1, the most innovative performance product ever produced.

With environmental concerns dominating much of the tennis industry and societal discussion, Imperial’s new Green Collection marks the confluence of eco-sensitivity talk and action. Hence “Green”. At the same time, “Black” signifies a giant leap forward in tennis industry wearable technology and performance. 18 months in development, the Imperial1 cap utilizes proprietary advanced technologies in fabrics, components and fittings. It is the most comfortable, highest performance headwear ever invented.

Green: The First Environmentally Responsible Headwear. Performance with conscience. 98% Eco-Friendly, fashioned from sustainable ultra-lightweight 65% organic cotton and 35% bamboo charcoal. Produced without pesticides and other chemicals, organic cotton is softer and easier on wearer’s skin. Bamboo charcoal yarn is naturally anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, de-odorizing and healthy to wear as the charcoal particles absorb energy and convert it to aide cell activation, promoting circulation. Soy-based dyes are used to gently color the fabric and the visor contains recycled materials. Recycled metal alloy and plastic fittings ensure a personalized adjustable fit. Imperial’s Green headwear is hypoallergenic, breathable and dries quickly, odor absorbent, machine-washable, thermal regulating and environmentally friendly. Available in Imperial’s signature fit cap, low profile visor and newly designed bucket. The Imperial Green Collection products will feature recycled green labels, the consumer’s assurance of Imperial’s commitment to environmental responsibility. The collection has been in development for over 16 months.

The new Green Collection and Imperial1 are the latest additions to Imperial’s full line of purposeful and core headwear and will be sold through Imperial’s network of retailers in the tennis, golf, outdoor and corporate channels.
