February 13, 2008

Bordentown, New Jersey – February 13, 2008 -– When the ATP Tour rolls into Las Vegas, Nevada next month for the Tennis Channel Open (TCO), fans will not only see some of the sport’s biggest names take to the courts, but will also notice a new name and look associated with the increasingly popular tour stop. For the first time in the tournament’s three year existence, Prince will be the official racquet, tennis ball and string of the TCO, extending its sponsorship presence among ATP and WTA events and continuing its commitment to growing grassroots initiatives.

Taking place March 3-9, with The Vegas Strip and the Nevada mountains as backdrop and playground, the TCO is quickly becoming one of the players’ favorite stops on tour, due to the passionate fans, beautiful weather and non-stop Vegas-style action both on court and off.

According to Linda Glassel, VP of Marketing for Prince, “Tennis Channel, the ATP and the city of Las Vegas do an outstanding job putting on this event, it is no wonder more marquis players commit to playing each year. It is more than just a tennis tournament; it delivers all of the positive qualities of the sport both on and off the court and has become an incredible experience for players and fans. We look forward to building a strong association with the Tennis Channel Open through the years and continue our commitment to Tour initiatives.”

“We are extremely excited to add Prince as one of our official sponsors,” said David Egdes, tournament director, Tennis Channel Open. “With a name synonymous with high-performance tennis equipment, Prince ensures that this year’s tournament will once again provide our Las Vegas audience a week filled with world-class tennis.”

As part of the sponsorship, the Company will not only provide Prince Tour Extra Duty tennis balls to all matches and practice sessions at the tournament, but will also be the sole sponsor of the tournament’s stringing service, providing Prince 5000 stringing machines as well as a Precision Tuning Center to customize players’ racquets for match play. In addition to extensive signage throughout the venue and tournament marketing materials, Prince will also host a full retail center on site where fans can browse, test and purchase all of the latest industry leading products including the newest O3 performance racquets – O3 Speedport White, O3 Speedport Pro White, Ozone Tour and Ozone Pro Tour – apparel, footwear, string, grips and accessories.

Fans looking for some competition themselves will have opportunity to play against one another and actual touring pros like Mike and Bob Bryan, John Isner, Sam Querrey who plan to stop by the Prince Wii Tennis-palooza located in the fan area on site. Aside from wielding the new Prince Wii Tennis racquets and showing off virtual tennis skills, players can enter an on-site promotion for a chance to win a host of free products including the Company’s newest O3 racquets, RECOIL string – even a new Nintendo Wii gaming system complete with Prince Wii racquets.
