Play Tennis Florida Magazine Names Gendreau Ad Sales Director
JACKSONVILLE, Florida –- Play Tennis Florida magazine, official publication of USTA Florida, is proud to announce the naming of Janice Gendreau as Director of Advertising Sales.
Gendreau brings a philosophy of advertising-marketing partnerships to the premier Florida tennis publication that is mailed monthly to the approximate 50,000 USTA Florida members and organizations. Penn, Babolat, Pro Tennis World, Tennis Plaza, the Sanchez-Casal Academy, Match Point, New Balance, Hawks Landing, and International Tennis Academy are only some of the current Florida and national flagship advertisers of the official USTA Florida magazine.
“We’re committed to an easy and seamless transition for advertisers reaching the Florida tennis market via our new publication and USTA Florida’s 50,000 membership,” Gendreau said. “Florida and tennis go hand in hand. I’m excited to be part of this magazine that reaches the established, yet still fast-growing luxury tennis demographic. Tennis continues to be one of the few sports consistently rising in participation, popularity and purchasing power, and its players are the consumers that advertisers want to reach.”
Gendreau was formerly the director of development for the Ponte Vedra (Fla.) Recorder newspaper, in addition to serving as a consultant for the Stetson Kennedy Foundation, in advertising/sales for Bellsouth in Savannah and Jacksonville, and as assistant vice president of development and director of communications respectively for Truett-McConnell and Brewton-Parker colleges in Georgia.
The advertising deadline for the January 2008 issue of Play Tennis Florida is Dec. 1. Play Tennis Florida is published 11 times a year, with a combined issue in Dec./Jan.
