Hydration: A Fluid Game

No matter the season, it’s important that your players stay hydrated and healthy.

By Cynthia Sherman

Dehydration can sneak up on you. Even if a player doesn’t feel thirsty, he or she may be just a few minutes away from exhibiting signs of dehydration, such as feeling tired or dizzy, experiencing a rapid heart rate, or developing a headache. And symptoms may quickly worsen.

Even mild dehydration can affect performance. For your players — not just in the heat of the summer, but in any season — it’s important to drink fluids regularly, both before play and during play.

We’ve rounded up some great water bottles you might want to consider in your shop or facility, so your players can hydrate in style.
