Fila

Fila’s Heritage Collection will be featured at the US Open in classic colors of true navy, cobalt blue and white for the women, and a lighter crystal blue in tanks, cap-sleeve tops, skorts, dresses and warm-ups. Breathable luxurious Tactel Pique is featured in updated silhouettes taken from vintage “old school” designs of the 1970s. Shown is rising tennis star Agnes Szavay wearing a ruffle-hemmed dress in blue and white. The men’s line features crewnecks in seamless construction and polos and shorts in 100 percent silky poly performance fabrics in pea coat blue.

Wilson

Wilson will launch its new apparel line next year. Using nanoFiber technology, Wilson says its pieces offer maximum sun protection, moisture-wicking and anti-microbial protection. This technology maintains these properties wash after wash, since they’re woven into the yarn itself, rather than as a surface application. Wilson also incorporates bamboo, a renewable resource, into its Men’s Core line. (For more on the new Wilson line, see “Wilson moves into tenniswear”.)

The Wilson collection includes men’s, women’s and junior apparel, including core collections available year-round in addition to seasonal collections. Wilson’s signature color, red, will be featured prominently in the Men’s Summer I and Women’s Summer collection — bold blues, yellows, pinks, turquoise against black, and white will be among the color palettes for spring and summer.

USTA/US Open

The USTA debuts its own branded fashion and performance line at the US Open this year, featuring private-label apparel by some of the top brands in tennis. Complete men’s and women’s on-court collections designed specifically for the USTA will be available for the first time. Silver US Open details will highlight the pieces. High-tech performance and easy-wear polyester fabrications enhance the collections, which feature anti-microbial and moisture-wicking properties. An array of T-shirts, long-sleeve tops, hoodies, and fleeces will go retro, featuring vintage US Open logos. A catalog of the collections is available through Fromuth Tennis.

LBH

The LBH line sports dynamic patterns and colors. The fabric content on almost all LBH pieces is 88 percent poly, 12 percent spandex and are all made of performance fabrics. The Wimbledon Big Ben collection features Fiesta red and white with blue accents, along with a coordinating geometric dot print. The LBH Katmandu collection goes wild with zebra printed tanks, dresses, skirts and jacket and pants in porcelain blue and black.

A variety of bold colors in the Black collection make it a great choice for team wear. The men’s Gold collection comes in Anthracite/Red, White/Red, White/Navy, Anthracite/Light blue. The Women’s Gold collection is available in Pink/Charcoal, Citron/Charcoal, Scarlet/White, and Navy/White. Both men’s and women’s collections are 84 percent ply, 16 percent spandex.

Bolle

Bolle will have several fashion groups for Spring. Lime Light, shown here, combines green and black in bold color-blocking and prints. Dresses will continue to be a strong element in tennis and Bolle has three to choose from. The racer back dress has a built-in bra; the kiwi and black print tank has a double spaghetti strap and built-in bra. The go-with skirt is one of the Bolle basics and sports a classic fit and length of 14.5 inches. Fabrications are 86 percent poly, 14 percent spandex. Delivery begins May 1.
